Setting your calorie and fat targets

Fat is an essential part of a balanced diet. The right amount of fat helps the body absorb vitamins and perform other essential functions. You just need to limit your intake to around 15g of fat per meal*. Your fat target is the maximum number of grams of fat you should eat in each meal.

* based on a diet of 1400 calories a day

Set your fat target, based on the amount of calories you are allowed per day

Your calorie target is the maximum number of calories that you should eat every day. (Eating less than 1200 calories daily is not recommended.)

Controlling the amount of fat you eat is essential, not just because it’s high in calories, but also because of the way the capsules work. Taking the alli® capsules means that some fat isn’t absorbed, so by staying within your recommended fat target, you can reduce the chances of experiencing diet-related treatment effects.
